Archaeological Resource Investigations’ three-day Archaeological
Law Enforcement Class provides training on all aspects of
the investigation and prosecution of archaeological crimes.
Instructors for the class are recognized national experts
in this area of law enforcement. Topics covered in the class
are:

Guideline
An archaeological crime scene practical exercise also is
included in the class. In this exercise, class participants
will be required to carry out crime scene investigation and
field damage assessment procedures at a mock archaeological
crime scene.
Targeted participants for the class are law enforcement officers
and archaeologists employed by federal, tribal, state and
local government agencies and federal, tribal, state and county
prosecuting attorneys.
